Daniels comes to SMCC from Norfolk State University (Norfolk, Va.) where she completed her graduate assistant work as an athletic trainer at the Division I level—managing prevention, treatment, education, and rehabilitation programs specifically for the Spartan’s softball and football programs.

Prior to Norfolk State, Daniels worked as an Athletic Training Intern at both Radford University (Radford, Va.) and Saint Michael’s College (Colchester, Vt.) where she served a variety of sports programs to include cross country, volleyball, basketball, baseball, softball, and alpine skiing.

A native of Scarborough, Maine, Daniels has considerable experience providing care at athletic camps and clinics both at the youth and collegiate level.

Daniels received her Athletic Trainer Certification (ATC) in 2013 and is a NATA Certified Member of the Maine Association of Athletic Trainers.

Director of Athletics Matt Richards stated, “We are extremely pleased with our new athletic training services provider Maine Medical Partners Orthopedics and Sports Medicine. Sarah comes to our program with outstanding experience and I’m looking forward to having her work with our coaches and student-athletes.”
