In the fourth, Camden Morrill singled in a run, Brayden Squires brought another home on a fielder's choice, and Nathan Austin added a sacrifice fly to stretch the lead to 6–0.
SMCC cut into the deficit in the sixth: Alex Bartlett (Thomaston, Maine / Oceanside) singled and later scored on an RBI base hit from Mattias Cobham (Saint John, Canada / Saint Malachys). Quinntin Gillies (Oshawa, Ontario / R.S. McLaughlin) singled to keep the inning alive, and Bryce Wilcox (Strong, Maine / Mount Abram) lifted a sacrifice fly to bring home a second run.
