Bio
Zach Ham enters his third season as Assistant Baseball Coach at Southern Maine Community College.
Ham brings playing and coaching experience to the Seawolves’ dugout. A former collegiate pitcher, Ham played at Saint Joseph’s College of Maine (NCAA Div. III) alongside SMCC Head Coach Ben Gravel. During the 2019 season, he made eight appearances—including two starts—for the Monks, contributing to the team’s NCAA Regional Tournament run.
At SMCC, Ham assists in player development, working with the pitching staff and contributing to recruiting and game planning. His efforts helped guide the Seawolves to a 23-13 record in 2024–25, a regular-season YSCC title, and a trip to the conference championship game.
A native of Portland, Maine, Ham graduated from Thornton Academy where he also competed in basketball and golf. He holds a degree in Sports Management from Saint Joseph’s College.
