South Portland, ME. The Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) men's basketball team beat Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC) opponent Hampshire College 104-49. The Seawolves jumped to an early lead with the half time score being 60-20 in route to their 3rd conference win.
A total team effort was put forth by the Seawolves as all 16 players scored. Leading the way was Freshman guard Jon Amabile (Portland, ME) with 15 points and 5 steals. Freshman guard Mike Harmon (Portland, ME) added 13 points while Sophmores Emmanuel Donalson (East Orange, NJ) and Jacob Loveridge (Chertsey, England) each added 12.
SMCC improves to 7-1 overall and 3-0 in conference play. The Seawolves host their next opponent Paul Smith's College on Friday November 16th. Game time is scheduled for 7:00pm.
