Chim Earns YSCC Player of the Week Honors

SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine— Southern Maine Community College’s Seth Chim (Portland, Maine) earned Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC) Golf Player of the Week honors on Sept. 14. Chim carded a 79 at Beaver Meadow Golf Course on Saturday, Sept. 10 to help his team place second overall in a full field of seven teams. The SeaWolves fired a team score of 360, one stroke behind first place finishers Paul Smith’s College and Dean College (non-conference)

Chim carded a 79 at Beaver Meadow Golf Course on Saturday, Sept. 10 to help his team place second overall in a full field of seven teams. The SeaWolves fired a team score of 360, one stroke behind first place finishers Paul Smith’s College and Dean College (non-conference)

Chim’s seven over par was the lowest score of the tournament against a field of 36 golfers. Chim recorded a birdie on hole one, and pared 11 holes after.

The SeaWolves will invite four teams to their invitational at Sable Oaks Golf Course on Saturday, Sept. 17. 1 p.m. will be the shotgun start time.
