CAPE ELIZABETH, Maine—The Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) Foundation and the SeaWolves Athletic Club teamed up with title sponsor Sodexo Dining Services to put on the 18th annual SMCC Athletics Golf Tournament Fundraiser at Purpoodock Golf Club on Monday, June 20.
CAPE ELIZABETH, Maine— The Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) Athletics Department held its annual awards banquet on Monday, May 9 at Purpoodock Golf Club in celebration of its student-athletes and their many successes throughout the 2021-22 academic year and athletic seasons.
Join us on Monday, June 20, 2022 on the links at Purpoodock Golf Club in Cape Elizabeth, Maine for a fun-filled day of golf. It is the mission of SMCC Athletics to continuously better the student-athlete experience, thus all of the proceeds of this 18th annual SMCC Athletics Golf Tournament will help fund the athletic program offerings at the College. The fundraiser is hosted by the SMCC Foundation and the SeaWolves Athletic Club.
SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine—At the conclusion of the semester, Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) Director of Athletics Matt Richards published the findings of the semi-annual Fall 2021 Athletics Engagement and Academic Report. The report shows student-athlete GPAs and retention rates based on United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) normal progress rules for athletic participation eligibility—a higher threshold than those standards of the College.
PORTSMOUTH, N.H. – The Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) golf team captured its first Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC) championship since 2010, scoring a team low 323 at Pease Golf Course on Saturday, Oct. 16.
STATE COLLEGE, Pa.—The Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) golf team carded a 7th place finish at the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) National Championship spanning Monday, Oct. 11 and Tuesday, Oct. 12 at Penn State University.
PORTSMOUTH, N.H.—The Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) golf team took home first place for the third time this season in its three-team Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC) match at Pease Golf Course on Sunday, Oct. 3.

LEEDS, Maine—The Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) golf team turned in its third consecutive first place finish at Springbrook Golf Club, a Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC) match hosted by the University of Maine at Augusta (UMA) on Saturday, Sept. 18.
NEW HAMPSHIRE/VERMONT—The Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) golf team took first place among Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC) programs in back-to-back matches over the weekend.
LOUDON, N.H.—The Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) golf team placed third in its first countable match at Loudon Country Club on Saturday, Sept. 4.
SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine— Head Coach AJ Burton will begin his first season at the helm of the SeaWolves golf program ahead of a 7-match Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC) schedule.
BRUNSWICK, Maine—The Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) golf team took to the links in the annual Maine Amputee Open at Brunswick Golf Club on July 13-14. Among those that attended the event were junior Robert Caron (Naples, Maine), sophomore Sam Winslow (Portland, Maine), and freshmen Albert Doughty (Gray-New Gloucester, Maine), Zach Tremblay (Sanford, Maine), and Brian Perrault (Biddeford, Maine). Each were placed separately in threesomes—some with amputee golfers.
