CAPE ELIZABETH, Maine—The Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) Foundation and the Seawolves Athletic Club teamed up with title sponsor Sodexo Dining Services to put on the 19th annual SMCC Athletics Golf Tournament Fundraiser at Purpoodock Golf Club on Monday, June 26.
SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine— At the conclusion of the semester, Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) Associate Dean of Athletics and Alumni Affairs Matt Richards published the findings of the semi-annual Spring 2023 Athletics Engagement and Academic Report. The report shows student-athlete GPAs and retention rates based on United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) normal progress rules for athletic participation eligibility—a higher threshold than those standards of the College.

SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine- Southern Maine Community College Athletics and its Hall of Fame Selection Committee named four to join an elite group of 43 individuals and two teams for their accomplishments on the playing surface and in the college community. After careful consideration the committee will enshrine Hannah Fields, Dan French, Patrick Haviland, and Vinal Shaw as its class of 2022.
