Lady Seawolves Squeak by Wildcats
South Portland - Lady Seawolves' centerfielder Anna Allard (Parsonsfield, ME) hit a bases loaded, two out, walk off single to edge the Wildcats of the University of New Hampshire by a score of 6-5 to capture their fourth win of the season.

The Seawolves found themselves trailing early, chasing a 3-1 deficit in the bottom of the third. But catcher Kathryn Gilio (Hampden, ME) jumpstarted the Seawolves offense in the third with a double to put herself in scoring position for rightfielder Erica Brochu (Lewiston, ME) who knocked Gilio across the plate. Brochu and leftfielder Danielle Mobbs (Richmond, VT) scored back to back runs when Lady Wildcats pitcher Meredith D'Elorme over threw the first baseman on a Hanna Campbell (Wiscasset, ME) hit to put the Lady Seawolves on top 4-3. The game was tied again at 5-5 going into the final inning when Allard hit her game ending, RBI single.
Allard went 3-5 on the afternoon with three singles, a double, a run and an RBI.
The Lady Seawolves are now .500 on the season at 4-4. They will play again tomorrow in double header action at the University of Maine - Farmington at 1pm and 3pm.
