Women Upset By College of St. Joseph

The Seawolves' shooting struggles continue as Southern Maine Community College drops a conference game to the College of St. Joseph 60-46.  The Seawolves shot just 24% from the floor and were out rebounded by twenty.  They showed a lot of heart with a run late in the second half, but it was not enough to overcome the defiicit. 

Leading the Seawolves was freshman forward Katelyn Benson (Westbrook, ME) with 16 points, 4 rebounds and 4 steals. Sophomore point guard Hanna Lyons (Scarborough, ME) chipped in 10 points and grabbed 5 rebounds.

The Seawolves move to 12-6 overall and 8-2 in conference play.  The women take the floor again on Thursday, January 26th when they host University of Maine-Augusta at 6:00 PM.
