Seawolves Take Down Navy Prep 83-39
South Portland, ME. The Seawolves of Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) beat Naval Academy Preparatory School 83-39 in the final day of the SMCC Tip Off Tournament. The Seawolves started the game with a 20-2 run and never looked back.
The Seawolves were led by sophomore Emily Bard (Fort Kent, ME) with 25 points including 5 three-pointers, 4 rebounds and 4 assists. Freshmen Nyalieb Deng (Portland, ME) and Rogetta Donalson (Hyannis, MA) contributed 16 and 12 respectively.
SMCC improves to 4-1 overall and remains 1-0 in conference play. The women have some time off before they face their next conference opponent at Hampshire College on Saturday, November 12. Game time is slated for 4:00 PM.
