Lady Seawolves Too Much For Unity
Unity - The defensive pressure by the Lady Seawolves held the Lady Rams of Unity College to just 11 points in the first half of play in tonight's YSCC women's basketball matchup, giving SMCC a 50-11 lead at the half en route to a 95-32 victory.

The Lady Seawolves put all eleven players in the scoring column in this evenings game. SMCC was led by their starting back court comprised of point guard Yaritza Tejada (Chelsea, MA) who scored 18 points and shooting guards Danielle McCusker (South Portland, ME) and Esther Palmieri (South Portland, ME) who put up 19 and 14 respectively. Shooting guard Danielle Day (Limington, ME) and forward Nyalieb Deng (Portland, ME) each chipped nine points for the Lady Seawolves.
Leading the way for the Lady Rams was center Candace Robinson who scored 16 points and pulled down six boards.
With this win the Lady Seawolves improve to 7-2 overall and 5-0 in conference play. The Lady Seawolves will return to action on Thursday December 5th against New Hampshire Technical Institute at home at 6pm.
