Roll On: Seawolves Win Sixth Straight with 77–56 Road Victory

HOW IT HAPPENED
SMCC wasted no time opening the game with relentless defensive pressure and sharp ball movement. Kylie Young (Westbrook, Maine) scored the Seawolves' first basket on a layup, and Ashley Mullen (Oakland, Maine) continued the offense from beyond the arc. SMCC forced a string of early turnovers and capitalized in transition, racing to a 30-9 lead by the end of the first quarter.
The Seawolves continued to build separation in the second. Jade Trueman (Sanbornville, N.H.) played the paint while Darby Flanagan (Dresden, Maine) and Skyler Tinker (Trescott Twp., Maine) played in relief. SMCC carried a 44-22 advantage into halftime.
Coming out of the break, Mckenna Johnson (Gardiner, Maine) knocked down a three, while Julia Reed (Gorham, Maine) finished at the rim. The Seawolves stretched the margin to 66-35 after three quarters.
In the final frame, Tinker and Taylor Renna (Pembroke, N.H.) added baskets in the final period as the Seawolves closed out the 21-point conference win.
