Nineteen Clear: SMCC Women Take First at Val Halla
CUMBERLAND, Maine – The Southern Maine Community College women’s golf team earned the team title at the SMCC Invitational on Friday, September 26th, 2025, held at Val Halla Golf Course.
CUMBERLAND, Maine – The Southern Maine Community College women's golf team earned the team title at the SMCC Invitational on Friday, September 26th, 2025, held at Val Halla Golf Course.
The Seawolves posted a team score of 242 (+26) to finish 19 strokes ahead of runner-up University of New England (261, +45). Husson University placed third with a 269 (+53), while Saint Joseph's College did not finish.
FOR THE SEAWOLVES:
- Charlotte Blanchard fired a 78 (+6) to tie for 1st overall.
- Grace Thompson carded an 82 (+10), tying for 3rd.
- Alexis McCormick also shot an 82 (+10), tying for 3rd.
