SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine— At the conclusion of the semester, Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) Associate Dean of Athletics and Alumni Affairs Matt Richards published the findings of the semi-annual Spring 2023 Athletics Engagement and Academic Report. The report shows student-athlete GPAs and retention rates based on United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) normal progress rules for athletic participation eligibility—a higher threshold than those standards of the College.

SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine – Emilienne Biddings-Augustine (New Gloucester, Maine) is a first-year midfielder/forward for the Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) women’s soccer team. Despite being a more recent addition, Emilienne has already been an impactful member of the program. She has played 16 games for the Seawolves, starting seven of them and scoring a total of six goals.

Hagerman and reminisce with former teammates and coaches! The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. and is open to all SMCC Athletics alumni. SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine- Southern Maine Community College Athletics and its Hall of Fame Selection Committee named four to join an elite group of 43 individuals and two teams for their accomplishments on the playing surface and in the college community. After careful consideration the committee will enshrine Hannah Fields, Dan French, Patrick Haviland, and Vinal Shaw as its class of 2022.
