Extra Effort: Seawolves Push Past Lynx in Four

HOW IT HAPPENED:
After dropping the opening set, SMCC responded with three straight to secure the road win. The Seawolves found their rhythm offensively in the second and third frames, then closed out the match in a tight fourth set that extended well past the 25-point mark.
BY THE NUMBERS:
- Meryk Lewellen (Gorham, Maine) led the Seawolves with 15 kills, six aces, and four total blocks.
- Lilly Andreasen (Gorham, Maine) followed with 13 kills and a pair of aces.
- Yana Montell (Gardiner, Maine) distributed 21 assists and added three aces.
- Dalia Nelson (Kennebunk, Maine) coordinated the defense with 26 digs.
- SMCC combined for 50 kills, 14 aces, and six solo blocks in the win.
