In game two Boyle pitched six of the seven innings with four strikeouts and eight hits to lead SMCC to a 4-3 triumph.
Auburn - Yesterday the Seawolves traveled to Auburn to square off against the Mustangs for a YSCC double header. SMCC took a commanding 20-1 victory in game one but the Mustangs fought hard in game two, keeping it close but eventually falling to the Seawolves 3-2.
Rutland, VT - Coach Lemieux returned to Maine last week after his stint coaching with the Ottawa Champions with just ten days to get his team prepared for their debut this afternoon at the College of St. Joseph's. The Seawolves battled in game one but fell short and succumbed to the Saints, 2-1. Game two was all Saints as they picked up the 12-1 win in five innings.
**Correction - this game was a countable game, not an exhibition game. Bridgton - The Seawolves' baseball team kicked off their fall season this afternoon with a game at Bridgton Academy. After nine innings a winner could not be determined and the game ended in a 5-5 tie.
