SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine—Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) Athletics enshrined both the classes of 2020 and 2021 to include seven individuals and one team to the SeaWolves Hall of Fame on Friday, May 27.

CAPE ELIZABETH, Maine— The Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) Athletics Department held its annual awards banquet on Monday, May 9 at Purpoodock Golf Club in celebration of its student-athletes and their many successes throughout the 2021-22 academic year and athletic seasons.

SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine—At the conclusion of the semester, Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) Director of Athletics Matt Richards published the findings of the semi-annual Fall 2021 Athletics Engagement and Academic Report. The report shows student-athlete GPAs and retention rates based on United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) normal progress rules for athletic participation eligibility—a higher threshold than those standards of the College.

SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine—Each year the Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) Athletics Department looks to recognize and honor former student-athletes, coaches and administrators, as well as special supporters of the program. To date, 39 individuals and two teams have been inducted into the prestigious SMCC Athletics Hall of Fame—this year will mark the 16th annual induction ceremony.
