Bio

Sammie is a sophomore shooting guard that will be expected to pick up where she left off leading the team in perimeter shooting. In the first game of the 2015-16 season she capitalized on four threes.

2014-15 - Led the team in made three pointers (35) and averaged 5.2 points per game. Scored a career high 14 points at Bunker Hill CC (11/1/2014).

Prior to SMCC - Attended Medomak Valley High School where she participated on both the soccer and basketball teams. She was a captain for both teams her senior year and was named Most Valuable Player in soccer and the Most Improved Player in basketball. She was also named to the KVAC all-star and all-academic teams.

Auburn - Tonight the Lady Seawolves traveled to CMCC in hopes of avenging the 68-38 loss the Mustangs handed the Seawolves in December. SMCC trailed by a handful of points nearly the entire game and were facing their largest deficit, 48-38, with seven and a half minutes remaining when an Abigail Nielsen (North Yarmouth, ME) jump shot spurred a 11-0 run to put SM up one with three minutes to go. The Seawolves outscored the Mustangs 9-5 in the closing minutes to walk away with the 58-53 conference victory.
