CAPE ELIZABETH, Maine— Join us on Monday, August 10, 2020 on the links at Purpoodock Golf Club in Cape Elizabeth, Maine for a fun-filled day of golf. It is the mission of SMCC Athletics to continuously better the student-athlete experience, thus all of the proceeds of this 16th Annual SMCC Athletics Golf Tournament, hosted by the Southern Maine Community College Foundation and the SeaWolves Athletic Club, will help fund the athletic program offerings at SMCC.

SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine—At the conclusion of the semester, Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) Director of Athletics Matt Richards published the findings of the semi-annual Spring 2020 Athletics Engagement and Academic Report. The report shows student-athlete GPAs and retention rates based on United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) normal progress rules for athletic participation eligibility.

NORFOLK, Va.— Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) Athletics placed ninth in the final tally of the 2019-20 United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) Director’s Cup standings, the department’s best ever finish.

Lady SeaWolves Finish Season With USCAA Final Four Appearance

UNIONTOWN, Penn.—The Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) women’s basketball team finished its season with its second ever United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) Final Four appearance on Tuesday, Mar. 10— defeated 63-49 by the #1 Nittany Lions from Penn State University Beaver.

Lady Wolves Rip Cougars, Advance To National Semifinal Round

UNIONTOWN, Penn.—The Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) women’s basketball team took care of the #4-seeded Cougars from the University of Cincinnati Clermont 66-41 in the quarterfinal round of the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) national tournament Monday, Mar. 9.

UNIONTOWN, Penn.—For the second consecutive year, both of the Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) basketball programs received at-large bids to the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) Division 2 National Tournament held for the last time in Uniontown, Pennsylvania. The tournament begins Sunday, Mar. 8, following the skills competition and championship awards banquet Saturday, Mar. 7.
