2024:
Dominant in her rookie season, Lewellen appeared in 22 matches and 84 sets, racking up a team-best 264 kills for an average of 3.14 kills per set. She led the YSCC in kills, kills per set, and hitting percentage (.312) while ranking second in blocks per set (0.68). Lewellen also ranked top five in the USCAA in kills, kills per set, and hitting percentage. She added 63 service aces (0.75/set), 76 digs (0.90/set), and 57 total blocks (0.68/set). Meryk started in 21 matches and consistently delivered high-impact performances, helping propel SMCC to an 18-4 season, YSCC Championship title, and USCAA National Tournament berth. Her performance earned her a list of honors, including YSCC Player of the Year, YSCC Tournament Most Valuable Player, USCAA First Team All-American, YSCC First Team All-Conference, and a USCAA Athlete of the Week selection.

Before SMCC:
Meryk is a 5'10" middle hitter from Gorham, Maine, and a 2024 graduate of Gorham High School. In high school, she served as team captain during her junior and senior years and helped lead Gorham to a Class A State Championship in 2023. She was a First Team All-State selection, a two-time SMAA First Team All-Conference honoree, and earned All-Academic recognition. Meryk was also a member of the National Honors Society. She is currently majoring in Education.
